oh dear. this was.. kind of amusing. lol don't make fun of me.
i remembered that my mom had all this old doll stuff from long ago when she made doll houses...so i used it. and i used some old story book about cats for the background.
ew and i used some dried fruit that expired like...3 years ago. it smelled gross. but looked nice.
You're welcome! I've wanted to start taxidermy for ages, I love miniatures, and, even though I'm vegetarian, I'm not squeamish or conflicted about handling dead animals! People reckon I'm weird for being an animal lover and collecting animal bones and skeletons, but I'd say I'm just being even more appreciative of them! XD
that's great! hey, if you have any questions, feel free to ask away. i'll share whatever i know.
and i also get odd looks from some people when i talk about my taxidermy. i'm not vegetarian, but i'm the kind of person that cries when i see road kill. i love animals so much, they're wonderful to me. haha, now i just pick up the road kill and bring it back to life! i only work with animals that have already died... so i think that's absolutely right. i'd say that's being even more appreciate of them. there's definitely a connection and great deal of respect that i feel when i'm working on one.
Yeah, I would only really work with animals who haven't been killed for the purpose, I couldn't stand having animals who died just so I could use their skins Taxidermy is definitely just a way of respecting the animal, and giving it life after life, so to speak
no, but that sounds awful. this rat wasn't my pet... how someone can do this kind of stuff to their pets is beyond me..let alone making them into helicopters.
I also love ratties!
The rat is actually really good, I reckon, love the expression xD
she was my first taxidermy project, so that's cool you think it's good, lol
and i must admit, i love love miniature furniture and things like that. i have a life sized equivalent to that tea set too. i love my tea sets.
